Class: COSTUME!!!
Hes in pink XD okay, so this is our newest boy Mister M competing in *JNFerrigno's Ride for Life Art Contest. Its to support Breast Cancer Awareness, which is something Painted Desert Ranch cares about dearly. So we have sent this fella and our Kazaran colt there. We also had a entry with our two Thoroughbred colts, so we have alot going on there. This is for the Costume class and although its not what i was gonna enter in there i have decided that all new horses must enter this, so here this fella is. Mister M competing in pink!!!!

Everyone was excited about the event. Mrs. Cameran, Ryan's mother, was a survivor herself, which is why they were all so keen on the Ride for Life contest Cheshire Farms was having. Ashlynn had took off with the other girls, but she was driving with Nana Cam, who was the Nana of the whole ranch. Nana Cam had come because she felt the need to show her faith in the event, being a survivor she knew it was the right thing to do. The staff drove all the way to Flordia, taking daily breaks. Mister M was taking it all in a galloping stride, picking up everything his owner wanted him to do. For a 3 year old, he sure was a very smart cookie. When they arrived, he looked around, nudging Ashlynns arm. She laughed at him because of the excited look in his eyes and took Nana Cam and herself to drop him off to get ready to show...
Mister M had been bathed twice, and had the prettiest coat ever. He looked like a true beauty and was dressed up and down in black and white. He held his head high and looked around, like he thought it was a black tie affair and he didnt need to worry because he was already perfect for it. Well, thats what he thought until he saw Nana Cam and Ashlynn walking up with bottles and bottles of pink fingerpaint(non-toxic of course!). His eyes got huge as he saw it, causing both women to laugh. He let them rub the pink stuff all over his body, snorting as they did his face. He was not only black and white now, but pink! When the girls stood back to look at their work, Nana Cam had no smile on her face. Something was missing. She dipped her fingers back in the paint and wrote "Faith" on both his hindquarters. Ashlynn knew why too....Nana Cam used Faith like it was her heart. She made sure everyone knew what Faith was and how to use it. According to the older women, it was how she made it though the death of her first husband(who isnt the current Camerans father, hes unrelated to all of them) and her breast cancer herself. She smiled and looked to Ashlynn. "Its finished Dear" and walked back to the bathrooms to wash her hands. Mister M looked adorable in his pink suit. When he walked in for the costume class he was free to roam, but of course he didnt. He was like a respectful native americans horse. Standing beside his carer no matter the point. Ashlynn stopped and he went past her a few feet. She started backing up and looked at him. Right there in the middle of judging the class she wanted to cry. Breast cancer had affected Nana Cams life....it has affected her own life....Mister M looked back at her, seeming to ask why there was wetness by her eyes, but she just smiled and hurried back to the side of her horse....continuing the class....
