<sup>Training Notes: Hope focuses really well on what her handler is doing and is paying attention to them instead of everything else going on around her, if they ask her to stop, she's hitting the breaks. She also focuses on what she's doing, if you're running barrels, she will hunt for the barrels, or if you're working a cow, she'll be getting low, but if you've got a little kid leading her around, her full attention is on them. Because she does focus so quickly on the little cues, she is super easy to train and also easy to retrain if needed, but if you show her something correct the first time, she'll remember it and try to please you the enxt.

Personality: Hope isn't spooky, you could shoot a gun over her head while she's asleep and she'll still be asleep. She isn't deaf, she just don't care. She loves cats, it's a weird combo, but one of the barn cats and her sleep together nightly, if she's in the pasture, that's where the her cat and her are. The cat however is not a distraction from training and showing thank goodness, but when she's on down time, she wants her cat with her! Hope's least favorite thing has to be clippers, probably because the vibration on her skin makes her feel like she's missing a cue that she's not. She loves attention and making sure she's doing something good, so if you tell her good girl, she is satisfied.

History: Hope was purchased at a sale as a 2 year old, she was broke to ride at Painted Desert and has had the basics put on her.</sup>

<sup>Artist Note: Hope. One word that we all use.

My grandpa is currently at the hospital waiting for a doctor. So all I can do right now Hope for the Best. So I couldn't really name her anything else, it just seemed to...fit. My grandpa has had a morphine pump for many years, however his right now seems to be malfunctioning. Luckly it doesn't seem to be an overdose, which could have killed him, but rather it seems he's having withdrawls. He's nauseated, throwing up and having hallucinations from what my mom told me. They can't get ahold of his doctor so they're calling one of the guys in that helped create it.

I'm gonna take a shower and get to bed, I'm supposed to go to a show in the morning, but at this point, we're not sure if I'll have anyone to hook up the trailer and take me...I just wish things would stop happening to my family, it's scary : My grandma had surgery Monday and now this happens...
