Story: Paisley had spent months bonding with the blue stallion. He wasn't knew to the ranch, but she was. She'd wake up in the morning and hop up on him, bareback with a halter and go down the trail. Just to spend time and build the bond she'd need...

Paisley dusted off the blue coat of Spanky. After many hours together they were ready for their first show. Natalie wanted Paisley to show the stallion as much as she could. He had a few foals on the ground, many of which were already winning, and it was time for him to prove himself in the show ring as well. So Paisley threw up the saddle, taking the cinch and pulling it tight, moving to the back cinch. After she brought the breast collar over, clipping it as needed. She put on the bright leg wraps and then slid on the bridle, bringing herself into the saddle...

"PD Handdown Hancock of Painted Desert Ranch, ridden by Paisley", it was their turn. Paisley walked the stallion into the arena, making prints in the freshly graded dirt. She gathered the reins and off they went, racing to the first turn.

Artist's Comments: Something is wrong with my pinky. The nail area hurts everytime I type. I wonder if I did something to it while riding, it was hurting after I ran my grandma's horse. Anyhow, hehe its SPANKY! My blue roan love I hadn't a clue what to put him in, I haven't thought of what color I want to be his, but I think this combo looks pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Not shaded because the show ends in a few days and I have 4 entries for it, this being the first. So ya, just some good exposure for our pretty blue roan At least it still looks great even without shading
